The activity was designed to build a bridge between the broader concept of energy and the specific study of Electricity, avoiding an immediate introduction through formulas or calculations.

In the first question, students observe three concrete situations: a person running, a pot being heated, and a lit light bulb. Based on the images, they identify the sequence Kinetic Energy – Thermal Energy – Electrical Energy. This allows the content to begin with visually recognizable phenomena.

Electricity is then expanded into its different areas. Students recognize Electrostatics, Electrodynamics, and Electromagnetism, while the images present an electrically charged balloon, an electric circuit, and a situation involving electromagnetism.

Next, an everyday situation shows a balloon being rubbed against hair. Students identify that electrification is related to the accumulation of electric charges, providing a concrete reference for introducing Electrostatics.

The fourth question uses three pairs of charges to explore attraction and repulsion. Students compare positive charges, negative charges, and charges with opposite signs and recognize that repulsion occurs when the charges have the same sign.

In the next question, two pairs of charges are separated by the same distance, but have different magnitudes: q and –q in one situation and 2q and –2q in the other. Students identify which situation produces the greater electric force, allowing them to qualitatively explore Coulomb’s Law without initially requiring mathematical application of the formula.

On the final page, students recognize that charges with opposite signs attract each other and observe that the electric field lines of a positive charge point outward from the charge.

The activity concludes with a four-scene sequencing task. Students organize the sequence: first, there is an electric charge; then, an electric field exists around it; another charge enters this region; and finally, it may experience an electric force. This visual organization helps students develop an understanding of the Electric Field without relying exclusively on an abstract written definition.
